TCC 2011 is a copyrights trade fair for the ASEAN region. It is one of the key event under the KL International Book Fair (KLIBF), which is the largest consumer oriented book fair in Malaysia.

TCC 2011 will run for 4 days – from Wednesday, 20th to Saturday, 23rd of April 2011. It will open its door 2 days earlier than the KL International Book Fair.

TCC 2011 will take place at level 5, Putra World Trade Centre. The whole level 5 will be use for the trade fair. There will be amenities like lounge, wifi, secretariat personals to help the participants and trade visitors.

Kunjungan ini diketuai oleh Encik Law King Hui, Presiden MABOPA, Tuan Haji Kamaluddin, Encik Kow Ching Chuan, Tuan Haji Sahari dan Puan Sabariah Abdullah pada 17 Febuari 2011 yang lalu di Pejabat Perbadanan Harta Intelek Malaysia, Wisma UOA, Bangsar.

Katalog Hakcipta 2010 dibuat oleh Majlis Buku Kebangsaan Malaysia (MBKM) untuk diedarkan di Pesta Buku Frankfurt 2010.

Penyertaan mendapat sambutan yang baik dari 26 penerbit-penerbit tempatan yang sangat berminat dalam pengeksportan hakcipta.

Frankfurt Book Fair blogger/journalist Ms. Magali Tardivel and Mr. Jeremie, both from France came to have an exclusive interview with MABOPA.

It was a historical moment as the exco held its 8th Executive Committee Meeting on 19th May 2010.

Pada 4 November 2009, Presiden MABOPA, Encik Law King Hui telah dilantik sebagai Presiden ASEAN Book Publishers Association (ABPA). Pelantikan ini dilakukan semasa berlangsungnya Mesyuarat Agung ke-5 ABPA di Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Among the topics discussed were Peruntukan-peruntukan akta yang berkaitan dengan kawalan penerbitan di Malaysia; Kandungan Akta Mesin Cetak & Penerbitan 1984; Bentuk-bentuk kesalahan bawah Akta Mesin Cetak & Penerbitan; Perkara-perkara yang berkaitan dengan kawalan terhadap penerbitan di Malaysia among others.

It was a fruitful get-together session with more than 50+ members turned up, and we hope that members would now be able to get in touch directly with the Matrade team.

More than 70+ members attended this Mabopa Luncheon held today, 25th February at The Royale Bintang Damansara Hotel with the new Director General of National Library.

Majlis Buku Kebangsaan Malaysia (MBKM) menjemput para penerbit untuk mencalonkan buku terbitan masing-masing bagi Anugerah Buku Kebangsaan Malaysia 2007 (ABKM 2007).

Ahli yang dihormati, persatuan sedang mengumpulkan data untuk projek penerbitan direktori tahun 2008.

The Government has progressively increased the access as well as reduced the cost of education. Last year, the examination fees for PMR, SPM and STPM were abolished. The only remaining fees are the examination fee for Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia and the annual fee for primary and secondary schools. Effective 2008, all these fees will be abolished. I also wish to announce that, beginning the 2008 school session, the Text Book Loan Scheme will be provided to all students, irrespective of their families’ income and with no restrictions on the number of eligible children. With this, 5.7 million students will benefit from this Scheme compared with 4.5 million students currently. With these measures, schooling in Malaysia is now completely free.

Kemaskini : Semakan 1 – PEnganjur menggugurkan dewan TR2 dari senarai dewan yang boleh ditempah. PBAKL 2008 akan berlangsung pada 4 hingga 13 April 2008 di PWTC, Kuala Lumpur.
